Wonton Soup

This recipe is a healthy one

Ingredients

300gm of minced pork—lean

1 stalk of spring onions

salt & pepper to taste

4 tsp of soy sauce

1 tsp of sugar

1 small packet of wonton skin

3 cloves of garlic

9 cloves of shallots

1kg of chinese celery (tang oh)

Water

Steps for cooking Wonton

1. Slice 6 cloves of shallots and fry with some oil.

2. When golden brown, remove shallots, drain oil and place aside.

3. Dice spring onions, add to mince pork and mix well.

4. Add soy sauce, sugar, salt and pepper to the minced pork and mix well.

5. Put 1 spoonful of mince pork mixture onto 1 sheet of wanton skin

6. Use water to line the edge of skin, fold over and press hard to seal skin.

7. In a pot, add water, garlic and shallots and bring to a boil.

8. Add the wantons.

9. When the wantons float, remove from water.

10. Add the tang oh to water.

11. When cooked remove tang ho.

12. In a soup bowl, place a small amount of tang ho, wanton, soup and shallots
